If you believed the NBA is rigged then your an idiot. The NBA don't care who's in the Finals but off course they want the best match up for the best rating like the Lakers vs. Celtics. Just looked at last year Finals, the Cavs vs. Spurs, do you think the NBA want these to team in the Finals, these 2 teams produce one of the lowest rating in the NBA Finals history but they did make it to the Finals. You think David Stern want these 2 team in the Finals of course not but they earned fare and square and so they went to the Finals. The NBA is not rigged, the best 2 team always makes it to the Finals and the the very best team crowned the champion.
I think it obvious the NBA wants another bulls - blazers finals match up that's why the blazers got the first pic last yr with a very small chance of getting it and the bulls got it this yr with an even smaller chance of getting the first pick. Yea that's as dumb as what you're asking...every yr bad calls are made in the playoffs...doesn't mean the NBA is paying the refs off to help on team or another...heck the refs can do a good enough job of controlling the outcome of the game to benefit themselves just as well.
I thought the spurs got the better end of the officiating in this series. I sorta agree that games are being over influenced by the refs. I think the Refs were calling the game the Spurs way just to keep it from being a blow out and have everyone turn it off.
enough with the rigged game theory, why did the Sun lose, why did the Hornets lose? Thoes guys are more entertaining than the Spurs, and the Lakers vs Suns series would draw huge ratings.

It was announced by the league today that the foul on Brent Barry should have been a 2-shot foul. Refs blew that one.
Well, from what happened with Brent Barry and Fisher, yes, LAkers are to be int eh FInals. Celtics, I have my doubts now.
