Lamar Odom,Caron Butler,Smush Parker and another player I know that the Heat gave up 4 players for Shaq
Lamar Odom, Caron Butler, Brian Grant and a first round pick. The Heat probably would be better off now if they had kept Butler Odom and pair them with D Wade.
lamar and caron was the main pieces. they traded caron because they knew if they got kwame, in couple years they can land gasol.

basically it started between the shaq and kobe feud over a lot of different things...shaq wanted to be traded because he said...if things werent going the way they were supposed to, he wanted to be traded....

the lakers felt shaq was past his prime...and the heat felt they got a great player and was one step closer to the NBA Finals and a championship.
