Well its a 50/50 chance this year if the lakers make it passed the jazz then basically you are handing them the chapionship utah shows the only mistmatch on the team and they will be the lakers toughest oppenets in the playoffs even more so than the celtics. But if the lakers make it passed utah then yes they will win the championship.

Lakers have home court in the west, the Jazz dont win often on the road. And then there is the Spurts, they are not going back to back, not gonna happen, especially when those geezers have to go 7 games against the Hornets.

The Lakers got a great shot of getting out of the west, and as the Celts have shown against the Hawks, the Lakers can smash on any east team.

Lakers over Jazz in 6, Lakers over Spurts in 6, Lakers over ANY east team in 5.

Yes, Kobe finally has enough pieces around to keep them in the game and he can take over in spurts at the critical parts of the game. He has Derrick Fisher a veteran PG who plays good Defense and Scores the ball efficiently, Gasol is a dominant inside presence that commands attention. They will beat SanAntonio in the Best Series of the playoffs 4-3.
